Mike open project STEK FDD in 2009 as new project, after work with alternative industrial band NEORAH.. Start create music in 1999. More than 8 projects, feat web-projects with musicians from various countries.. Write music for films, pc and iphone games. Write book about sound synthez.
First project (depressive downtempo) – AveDate / 1999-2000 /

STEK FDD / 2009 / ELectronic Alternative Experimental project. At this moment – first CD of STEK FDD – “HERO GENERATION”. Sound interesting and experimental. 18 tracks on CD. Sound of tracks various – from Depeche Mode to Chemical Brothers and the Prodigy.. Hard guitar riffs with crazy synth leads, original electronic and live drum loops.. Now you can find CD “HERO GENERATION” on iTunes, Napster, Amazon, Lala, and other stores. Mike write music and play it live.. Now M. Smirnov live in Russia, but work with musicians from many countries.
Mike was born in the beginning of 80s in USSR.
Start work in Nizhniy Tagil, Ekaterinburg [Russia] and feats from other countries…
In 1998 the first worthy work has been made. With 2000 there are begun new projects: «AveDate», «Plasta», «SoundGlasses», «STEK_Concept_Works», and feat projects «RED SKY FLAT» with Axid, tracks with Dogma, Alex, mixes feat BIOPSYHOZ. Since then Mike Smirnov – the independent musician known as STEK or STEK FDD.
In 2006 Mike becomes the participant of group NEORAH, leaving group «SA». With electronic, Mike changing music of Neorah, works in group, but continues also own solo the project which is not less important for it.
Write music to PC and iPhone games, for TV and films.
Each new day as a new step to experiment in the creativity. This aspiration to do an actual material for itself at present, any restrictions, to hell rules in the music world.
